Tabasko: From Logo to Streetwear Icon
At the very beginning of my long-term collaboration with Tabasko, one of my first major tasks was to redesign the brand’s original character, a simple figure that had caught the attention of Adam Ostrowski (O.S.T.R.).
My goal was to transform that initial inspiration into a distinctive, original and fully functional visual identity. I redrew the character from scratch, giving it its own proportions, structure and personality. The result was a clean, vector-based symbol designed to work across different applications, from screen printing and embroidery to clothing labels, accessories and digital media.

Over the years, the character, known simply as Ludek, became much more than a logo. Closely associated with O.S.T.R. and Tabasko, it grew into a recognizable symbol within Polish hip-hop culture and streetwear. The little guy in a cap became a visual representation of the brand, its attitude and the community around it.

What makes me particularly proud is how far this symbol has traveled beyond its original purpose. Seeing people tattoo Ludek on their skin is probably the strongest proof that a graphic mark can become something truly personal.

Looking back after all these years, it’s incredibly rewarding to see a character I redesigned become such a recognizable part of Polish streetwear culture.
