App Icon Design for Alior Bank
A few years ago, while I was still working as an Art Director at the PZL agency, before becoming Head of Design, I had the pleasure of designing a mobile app icon for one of PZL’s biggest clients, Alior Bank.
A few years ago, while I was still working as an Art Director at the PZL agency, before becoming Head of Design, I had the pleasure of designing a mobile app icon for one of PZL’s biggest clients, Alior Bank.
The task seemed simple, but in practice it required finding a form that would remain clear at a very small size while still keeping the character of the brand’s most recognizable symbol.
Icon Variations:
This is one of those projects that has taken on a life of its own. What gives me the greatest satisfaction is knowing that this icon has been on Alior Bank users’ phone screens for years. For a long time, I even kept the app installed myself, mainly so that every now and then I could look at the icon and think, “Damn, it’s still there.” That’s a really nice feeling.
